Sometimes the right thing is all wrong.
Melinda “Lindy” Wilkinson has a great boyfriend, a great family, and a great life. She’s always polite and does the right thing. When doctors find a lump in her breast that turns out to be cancer, Lindy works hard to maintain a positive attitude, hide her condition from her cutthroat coworkers, and keep her emotions to herself around her conservative family. But as the pressure builds, Lindy begins to have unwelcome thoughts about her family and her job, life and death, and about the absurdly inappropriate guy who makes her morning latte. When tragedy strikes, Lindy’s carefully constructed inner world begins to crumble, with interesting consequences.
