Taking it off has never been so revealing.
Romance, Romantic Comedy
Joe is an unlikely bachelorette party stripper: nerdy as a kid, handsome and ripped as an adult. He’s never been good at relationships because the women he meets on the job tend to like him for his looks – something Joe, thanks to his past, has never seen as anything special. Sex would be easy if Joe wanted it (there’s a reason his friend Sammy calls their profession “gigolo” instead of “stripper”), but his outsides don’t match his insides. There’s a lot to hate about his job and the clients he serves, but Joe feels trapped by golden handcuffs. The truth is, stripping pays. And because everyone seems to see him only as meat, it’s easily the best job he’s likely to get.
Leila, on the other hand, was an obsessively driven student and recently landed what she thought was her dream job. Then the work started piling up, and she found herself looking at 80 high-pressure hours a week of work that she suddenly hated. Her friend Kat has always told her to “loosen up,” but Leila can’t do it. Until a party where she finally cuts loose, gets drunk, and tries to land this hot stripper, “Gigolo Joe.” After that party, security footage gets her fired. And when some legal paperwork comes up missing, threatens to get her disbarred as well.
Wanting to save face and her job (and threatened with legal action against her), Leila does the only thing she can: goes back to “Gigolo Joe” to get the straight scoop, see if he stole the papers, and figure things out for her old boss. But sparks between Leila and the stripper she left behind are already starting to fly.
